Xbox live (XBL) Twitter/Facebook integration for over 18yr old users

It seems the integration of of social webplatforms on XBL

twitter
facebook
last.fm

will be only for Gold member users (meaning people paying for full XBL) that are over 18

it seems an update is planned to allow parents to choose which social platform their kids have access to while on the xbox 360

Odd decision but probably the safe way to go for MS at this point.
