so here are 3 links which are totally unrelated either than the fact that 2 were brought to our attention by the mighty Olllllaf
voice-painting system – use audio to control a brush nice but Errrr sounds annoying at least the vid
your font – free font generator sounds interesting but still have to try it 
and its freeeeeeeeee
Phatch - a free (yup thaz right more free stuff) photo multi platform batch processor ok one can do most of this with commercial programs such as Photoshop but they are NOT free! plus this puppy can also do stuff like adding shadows rounding corner etc. check it out!
