Movie tip – Be kind rewind by Michel Gondry

I think this movie started playing in Hamburg last week and I am sure you are all familiar with Gondry and his work. Mos Def and Jack Black are great in this wonky movie. Sweet and full of silly ideas. A ton of hand made effects. Good supporting performances by Danny Glover and Mia Farrow. New comer Melonie Diaz is also adorable as the awkward Alma. All and all a nice comedy, recommend it! A urban fairy tale for film fans.
Currently playing in Hamburg at the Abaton in OMU so be quick since I am not sure how long it will be playing there and I do think watching this in German would suck. So get Sweding!
